TELEPHONE & FAX ORDER SUPPORT
For shoppers who do not have access to the Internet,
users can setup shoppers from the control panel. Should
the shopper place another order in the future, their
preferences, billing and shipping information will already
be stored in the system.
AUTOMATED EMAIL NOTIFICATIONS
Using the built-in WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You
Get) editor, site administrators can manage the content
of various email templates that automatically go out
to customers. These messages are:
• Order Confirmation Message
• Shipping Notification Message
BACKORDER AND DROP SHIPMENT
SUPPORT
eGlobalStores keeps track of inventory numbers in real
time and will support back orders (if the merchant so
chooses) along with drop shipments.
EXTERNAL SYSTEMS INTEGRATION
The merchant can choose to maintain the product catalog
online through the use of the administrative tools,
or interface with existing systems in order to sync
product data with the online store. Similarly, the merchant
can choose to process orders directly through eGlobalStores
or have them transferred to another system for processing.
For both interfaces, eGlobalStores supports either an
XML feed or a text file in CSV or ASCII format. To date
this two way automated data exchange functionality has
been implemented with the following external systems:
